Good afternoon kiddies! Hopefully you're week has not been as torturous as others.
Anywhoo, I'm sorry I kinda went missing for a bit but due to my flunctuating schedule, it was hard to find a bit of time to write.
Nevertheless, I am here and ready to bring you interesting topics/news.
Let's start...
You Remind Me of the Babe:
Attention Pop Funko Collectors, if you have no clue, but yesterday, one of our favorite collectible companies announced that they will be releasing in September, official Labyrinth Pop Funkos.
So, now for those of us who collect these Pops, we will be able to own our own Jareth, Sarah (with Worm), Ludo & Hogwarts, ahem.. I mean Hoggle.
What is more awesome?! Well it looks like Ludo will be a 6" instead of the normal sized collectibles.
I'm super psyched!!

"Merchandising, Merchandising!!"
Ok, it's Honesty Time, the majority of us enjoy and we go through great lengths in order to acquire all sorts of memorabilia from our favorite fandoms, am I right? And most of the time, when the franchise/fandom comes out with their products, they are well thougth of and received.
Star Trek, CBS/Paramount has been releasing various type of memorabilia in celebration of their 50th Anniversary, and I can agree with most of you that, what we/ve seen so far, we like.
BUT, and this is only my humble opinion, Star Trek & Build-a-Bear's collaboration is a miss.
When I saw the products, I genuinely got concerned, specially when you see one of the outfits for the bear that is supposed to represent Spock. OMG, what in the world?!
It looks akward and instead of invoking fondness or at least cute-ness, I just really can't see myself purchashing the bears.
And it is a shame because Build-a-Bear products are not cheap, and despite they are aimed for younger audiences, there are many adults that will be seeking out these new release products do to the Star Trek name attached to it.
But are they worth spending all that money on not so adorable items? I guess it is up to each individual Trekkie to figure out if you will be giving your hard earned cashed to this piece of memorabilia.

I will admit, that the two that are on the side of weird looking Spock Bear are actually cute and cuddly, and I would definitely acquire them, except for the one in the middle.
So, what do you guys think? Am I making a bigger deal out of this? Would you guys want to acquire all of these for your collections? Let me know in the comment section below!
Captain America/Hydra Controversy:
A couple months ago, the world (or at least the Geek world) had a collective meltdown about the revamped Steve Rogers: Captain America #1 issue in which our beloved hero gives us a shock of a life time and exclaims "Hail Hydra."
The world had a collective tantrum for a couple of days, even prompting Chris Evans to tweet out his shock for the new revelations.
Fast foward to recently, in the second issue of the controversial run, we come to find out that Steve's memories have been manipulated (edge on by his nemesis, Red Skull) and he thinks that he is a Hydra Agent.
So, the world can go back as it should be, and crisis averted. But to be honest, I was one of those people who through a major tantrum over the first issue.
I am just glad, that although the arc run is still not finished, Steve Rogers, will eventually (and hopefully) will remember who he is and what he stands for.
