Bastards, Dragons & Demi-Gods.

Hello kiddies!

Oh how have I missed writing to you guys!! Sorry I have not been able to publish at least once these couple of weeks, and yes, I do remember I did promise you guys to try to publish as much as I had been.

Sowwy! It's been a roller coaster for me, from my weird schedule for work, and all the drama that's happen, it has been a bit hard to get my mood into writing.

But I'm back!!

OMG, there are SOOO many news that I need to tell you guys, if you guys still haven't heard of.

So where to start?

The Battle of the Bastards

O.k. HBO better deliver this very and I mean VERY anticipated battle (after the fiasco with Cleganebowl of last Sunday) and as always, the internet realm is a buzz with theories and expectations for this upcoming battle. Who will win? Who will perish? Well i do hope that is NOT everyone's favorite bastard (and I'm not talking about Ramsay, 😜). Also I'm hoping that Jon Snow will not die, since he technically already did, I'm pretty sure the internet will riot if he dos (again). But who are you rooting for? And if you're rooting for Ramsay, well, I think you seriously need help, lol, just kidding. But maybe you do... 😉

As for myself, I do hope Ramsay's death is a slow torturous one, sweet payback for all the f**ked up shit he's done. Hello, Osha, Lady Bolton & Baby and not to mention Reek, I mean, Theon?!

Well, we only need to wait til Sunday to see what happens, but I will be keeping a close eye on news during the remainder of the week and Sunday (in case I have to work, boo!).

Pete's Dragon:

Apparently, HBO is not the only one who will soon be capitalizing on Dragons, but Disney as of late has been doing remakes of their classics and a trailer that came out a couple of days ago, was that of the remake for Pete's Dragon.

Yes, Pete's Dragon. And although I have been lukewarm about the upcoming live-action/CGI redo of Beauty and the Beast, the trailer for Pete's Dragon does not look THAT bad, and I actually would not mind go seeing it in theaters. Sorry, I'm a sucker for dragons.

I'll be honest, I was not a fan of the original cartoon/live action one, but this remake/redo of the classic not only looks incredible (there's a dragon, for pete's sake!!) but it looks heart-warming. So, am I going to try to go see it, definitely!

And yes, I was being 'punny" lol.

And talking about Disney, thankfully, they have not ran out of actual creative & original ideas, and have definitely proved me wrong, because a couple of days ago, they also released a teaser trailer for the much anticipated Moana.

The Rock as a Demi-God:

So, the teaser includes the voice of The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson, a rooster, Moana (title character) and a loveable pig companion. The visuals look absolutely amazing, and from what looks like the score is set to be super catchy and incredible, since it is spear headed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and other composers/writers of Pacific Islander decent. So, yes, it is highly anticipated. Not only because it will introduce a new official Disney Princess into the line, but she will be ethnically diverse from the line up.

This film also marks a come back to the Pacific Islands, the last one was Lilo & Stitch and all the rest of the direct- to- video films.

Now, we can only hope that soon Disney will introduce a Latino Princess eventually!

Like always, I leave you with the link to the teaser trailer:

It looks like this year, we will be heading to the movie theaters very frequently! So, which film are you most anticipating? is it the upcoming Finding Dory, Pete's Dragon, Moana or other films? Let me know in the comments section below!!

Til' next time!

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of
