Can we all just get along?!?! A couple of days ago it was officially revealed that the new Doctor would be played by Jodie Whittaker and ALL hell broke loose. The reaction to this news has been overwhelmingly mixed. And to be completely honest, I am getting kinda tired about all those piss boys who just can't seem to get the grip that this is 2017 not 1950. Boy do I have news for you guys!! It always brings me an immense joy knowing how our community is slowly but surely (and for the most part) is embracing different individuals from many different walks of life. We within oursleves were outcasts for many many years by the "normal" section of our societies and at times were looked down and made fun of. And it is important that we do not forget where we came from. Individuals who gathered in the confides of their similar thinking peers to play D&D or join a LAN party or LARPing group during your weekends, we were made up of people who came from different backgrounds and partook in "GEEK" interests.
