It's that time of year again, where those of us mere mortals who for three days will constantly be reminded how poor we are that we aren't at this year's SDCC 2019, yet again 😩😶. Thankfully it IS 2019 and with the help of the magical internet, we are able to still get to enjoy the trailers, sneak peeks that those fortunate souls have seen with their own eyes. So, let's not fret, because this year, has been as promising and super exciting for many fandoms. From Stranger Things ' new season (is it season 4? sorry, not sure) to the trailer of IT  sequel, there have been many reasons why our Geeky hearts have been sent fluttering throughout the weekend. Not to mention the merchandise previews, etc.  There will definitely be many awesome choices to choose coming this Fall 2019 and beyond. So, you finished watching most of your intended shows and you have no clue on what to watch next? Well, thanks to my daughter, and her amazing taste (specially when it comes to dragons) she introduced me to this amazing series called The Dragon Prince  which is currently on Netflix. I believe most of the production team from Avatar: The Last Airbender  is also responsible for this hidden gem.  IMDb The style is also reminiscent of Avatar , but do not be fooled, it is not Avatar in the least. So, what is this show about, you ask. Well here's a quick synopsis (spoiler free, of course): I n the kingdom of Xadia, humans have corrupted the 6 magic elements and created dark magic. The Dragon King gets killed by the humans with the dragon egg. Everyone thinks they're both gone, but two brothers, Callum and Ezran find the egg and must deliver it to the Dragon Queen in Xadia, no try and stop the war that was started and bring peace to both Xadia and the human land....

Hello kiddies!!! Sorry I haven't posted since the last time and it's not because I haven't wanted to but because I've been on very strong pain meds since my knee surgery. Alas! Whenever I have not been knocked out, I have been productive and I binge watching on Netflix and catching up on shows that normally I would not have been able to watch.  Anywhoo, so here's my opinion/review (sans spoilers) of: Netflix  Marvel's Jessica Jones. Omg, the series is absolutely fantastic! The cast, storylines, characters are amazingly well thoughtout and executed. One of the best things about this series is that whether you are familiarized with 'ALIAS' or any of the characters from the comics, or if this is your first time hearing about Jessica Jones, Alias, etc. the series is well put together that it is not necessary to have fore knowledge to enjoy the series.
