Exuding Geekiness since 1984

Ever since 'The Force Awakens,' which without a doubt an absolute hit, there's one person who has benefited from this renewed interest in the saga, that person being the great Mark Hamill. And in my personal opinion it is well overdue. He's a fabulous actor, who for awhile was overshadowed by Harrison Ford's action-adventure career. Not to throw any shade at Mr. Ford, he's also a wonderful actor, but Mark was overshadowed, and at a point, unfortunately type-casted, until he shined with his voice-acting chops as The Joker in the much beloved 90's cartoon, Batman: The Animated Series.  From then on, he's been working with his talented voice doing many memorable voice overs, but once The Force Awakened, it's like a renewed interest in Mark, as more than a voice-actor has put him back into the spotlight. Which I am absolutely thrilled as a long time fan of Mr. Hamill (and yes, Luke forever will be my MCM) it brings me joy seeing him more constantly...

Two days ago, the first official trailer for the new 'She-ra: Princesses of Power'  was finally released, and I cannot stop squealing!!! Yes, I am aware I just covered this in the last couple of days, but I can't stop! 😝 This is huge for me, and I believe for a lot of fans whom grew up with the original 80's cartoon. I love how the essence of the iconic 80's cartoon can still be seen in the trailer. I love the new relationship between Catthra and Adora, and how it adds a different dimension to the new series. I also love how it's not just Adora in this new series, but she's one of a group that is willing to fight against the Evil Horde. I enjoyed the humor, and specially the new animation. The way the characters are drawn have a nostalgia feel to them, but they're also a new element as well. This isn't the 80's version, but a newer version for this generation. Hello kiddies!!!  Sorry I have been MIA for a bit, but my job (as in the real world, cuz I still have bills to pay) has been picking up in these couple of weeks, so yeah, it's been hectic.
