DOCTOR WHO Series 9 Highlights & Review.

So, yesterday was the world premier of Doctor Who series 9, and like many many of my fellow Whovians (and also because I was fortunate to have the day off) I tuned in. And it did not disappoint! So many references, so much drama, oh the feels!! The first episode was appropriately titled.  Source: theregister.co.uk  I think the move of returning the Doctor and Clara where everything (meaning the Great Time War started) with the key players (Davros, Daleks' homeworld, etc.) was excellent. Hello Sweetie.. The Return of River Song.

For those of us who we consider ourselves Whovians, just today we got a very special announcement from BBC and Doctor Who by giving us our Christmas gift early, sort of. And although we will have to wait for the traditional Christmas episode, it will be worth the wait because an very beloved recurring character will reappear.  River Song, the Doctor's wife will be included in the special. 😁😅😁 I'm over the moon with excitement in wanting to see Alex Kingston in her iconic role! Aside from the fact that I'm still a bit heartbroken due to Rory & Amy Pond not being able to travel through time and space with Peter Capaldi's incarnation of The Doctor, I am giddy to see River's interaction with her husband in the form of 12th Doctor.  Doctor Who is set to premier on September 19 on BBC One. The Christmas Special was announced to air on Friday December 25th. For more info. I leave you the link to BBC website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/doctorwho/entries...
