Wishing you only the best, EXCELSIOR.

I had been debating all day long in deciding whether or not I wanted to post this. And although many of you are aware of the news by now, I really don't want to become one of those gossip news blogger sites where, I just hash out news left and right from "un-reputable" sources and call it a day. I've worked really hard (even though, my blog might not reach the level of notoriety that I hoped for, but to whom ever it does reach) to not be one of those sites.

So, I will tread with a word of caution, that despite me giving you guys the following information from another site, this by no means says that I agree or even condone (whether true or not their information is), but I will give you what I think, simple as that.

And I sound like I'm rambling because I probably am. A couple of days ago, it was reported through The Hollywood Reporter, that sources (who of course, like always wish to remain 'anonymous') that beloved legend Stan Lee was being abused and subjugated to make changes to his estate in order to benefit (even more so) his daughter, and was being made to do this against his own will by 'people who are bad influences on his daughter'.

Basically, according to these 'sources,' they've made Stan Lee's daughter seem like an ingrate and total entitled spoiled biotch who is only after her father's money.

Now, whether or not these allegations are true or not, that is not up to me to decide. But it has raised concerned among fans and long time celebrity friends, who've have noticed a change in Mr. Lee's demeanor. These are extremely serious and delicate allegations.

I have not been in the presence of Stan Lee, so I cannot comment whether there is a grain of truth to this story, but what I can say (and will) is that if ANY  of this is true, it needs to be investigated ASAP. Not just reported by news site, but an actual police investigation concerning the welfare of Mr. Lee.

And this brings me to the point, because basically, THR is basically putting out there that there is some sort of elder abuse being done to Mr. Lee. Here's my point, that if there is truth in that, regardless if it wasn't Stan Lee who was being subjugated to this kind of horrible mistreatment, it should be investigated. Why? Because, aside from a living legend, he's also a widower, who lost his companion (and that's not easy to live with), it also involves a very personal inter-relationship with his daughter. I mean, can you imagine, how he must feel (regardless of whether the allegations are true or not) that his daughter is being involved in such manner?

I'm not excusing or condoning anyone, and no, I'm not taking sides, but I am concerned for the safety and well being of a PERSON, a living, breathing human being.

This also brings me to my other point is that, I am in no way making it seem like I'm happy that this is happening to him (if it is happening), but this kind of elder abuse happens EVERYDAY, to regular people. And despite the horrible circumstances, this should raise even more awareness for the non-Excelsiors in our lives, who unfortunately, due to the fact that they aren't legends, actually go through this hell, by sometimes, the persons who they trusted the most.

So, yes, this whole story has been really hard to write and so far, there have been conflicting information coming from sources, Mr. Lee himself, and news sites.

And all we can do, is to keep an eye on how or what comes next, and wish and hope that Mr. Lee IS in fact, in good health, happy and safe in his home with his family.

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of
