While Funko rules the world, Bill Nye tries to Save it & Teen Titans make contracts.

Hello kiddies!!

Today is an incredible day because IGN this morning released a full trailer for the DC/Warner Animation full length film for "Teen TItans: The Judas Contract."

If you have not seen it, SEE IT NOW, I'll wait...😏

Ok, so are you as psyched as I am?! (please say yes, or otherwise I will look like a dork, lol).

The trailer looks amaze-balls and it is awesome to see that DC has been picking up more on less talked about superheroes. Yes, it isn't the big theatrical blockbuster that we've been hoping for, but this serious looks worth it. Yes, we all know that the Holy Trinity is focused a lot more by DC and the studios because, let's be honest, it brings in the bigger $$$ but I am glad to see that DC is starting to rely more on other superheroes.

The film is slated to come out this year, an actual release date hasn't been officially confirmed, but whenever that is, I will be ready with my handy wallet, and you should be too!

The film is a bit bittersweet because although the story, animation looks incredible, it will also include the voice talent of the late Miguel Ferrer.

So, this film in particular will be even more special. My fellow Geeks, let's make Mr. Ferrer proud!

BTW, the film is rated PG-13 and is obviously spearheaded by Warner Animation. It also includes the voice talents of: Christina Ricci, Taissa Farmiga, Stuart Allan, Brandon Soo Hoo Jake T. Austin, Karl Wahlgren  and Sean Maher.

And it is directed by Sam Liu.

Are you excited as I am for the release of the film?! Let me know below!

Bill Nye the Science Guy is back... and ready to Save the World!!

Technically this isn't "new" news, I know, but since it was announced that one of our favorite science guys (after Sagan, Neil Degrasse Tyson) would be spear heading his own show on Netflix, well we all got the warm fuzzies in the opportunity to seeing him again on the small screen.

Just today, Mr. Nye himself released a mini trailer on his Instagram and honestly I cannot wait to science with him and all his guests stars.

Specially in these tumultous times where we don't know what will happen, this debut comes at a time where, WE NEED reliable information based on SCIENCE, we need hope and answers, and this new talk show, FEELS and LOOKS like it will be a blast, but also inform many who might not know or be misinformed.

From what I can tell, it is a very more mature show that incorporates, a live studio audience (talk show) but it also keeps the fun and awesomeness of what we remembered of our beloved 90s series. So, yes, we SHOULD SCIENCE, but what better way to science than with Bill Nye himself?!

Joining him are correspondents, guests stars (Wil Wheaton, Steve Aoki... anyone?) that bring their own dinamic to the show.

The series will debut on April 21st of this year. So, keep an eye on Netflix so, we can Netflix & Science. 😉

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was...

I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of ...

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. (See w...
