The simple things (90s, how we miss you!)

Hello kiddies!!! It's great time once again that I will spill once again my thoughts into the collective consciousness of the Internet, ooooooohhhh!!! 😱😏😁

And like any legit source of information, these news come from various sources, that like always will be properly acknowledge. Because let's be real, who really, now a days, truly has original content?! Just kidding!!! (Please don't sure me 🙏).

Back in the 90s

Ok, so who remembers the simpler times better known as the 90s when most of us could not wait for Saturday morning cartoons and when life was much simpler? Yup, I do too! Those simpler years in which our biggest decision was which Power Ranger were we going to pretend to be that day.

Well, now that I just mentioned the Power Rangers, I'm sure all of you have heard by now the rumors that a rebooted Power Ranger movie is in the works, or at least it is a project that is being looked at. Well apparently, just recently I found out through Nerdist.com, that it has been annouced that the Pink Ranger is heading to the comic strips. Yes, tthe Pink Ranger is getting her own comic. And as much as i'm celebrating that there is a renewed interest in this beloved 90s classic, I would also love to see other comics based on each of the OTHER Rangers.

I know I may be officially kicked out by the Geek Over Lords, but I was always much more of a Yellow Raner fan. And come to think about it, I would love to see the Yellow Ranger in her own adventures, mainly because the original actress who portrayed YR, unfortunately passed away in a horrible incident. And, as the softy that I am, I would love to see, a comic based on her character.

Any ways, what do you guys think? Would you like to see a Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, etc. headline their own comic? Are you excited for the reboot Power Rangers Movie?! Comment below & let me know!

To Boldly go Where no Trek has gone before?

So, there have been huge news in the Final Frontier, becaue several days ago it was announced that Bryan Fuller was selected to spearhead the new Star Trek series. And apparenty, he has been a long time Trekkie, and not to mention has the credentials to back it up.

Not only he might be able to beat the most veteran Trekkie in a game of Trivial Pursuit, but he has also worked on DSP and has been heavily involved with the franchise for a hile.

So, not only does the company/franchise have their hopes pretty high up for Fuller to do a astounding job, but i'm guessing the fans will also have high criterias for ehat he will bring to the new series.

No pressure, right?!

The article goes into more detail on how Fuller's main goal is to keep Gene Roddenberry's legacy alive and especially having diversity within the cast, is a cornerstone of how the show will be modeled after.

All I have to say is that as long as Roddenberry's legacy is the thriving force for the new series, I am very much delighted in tuning in and continue to proudly call myself a Trekkie.

I do hope that, Fuller and with the rest of the production team, take their time & effort in order to bring us a new series that the fans deserve  (because lets be honest, Enterprise was utter  💩).

Childhood Nostalgia with an adult twist:

And continuing our stroll through memory lane, remember those lazy days when we would get bored and instead of busting out our laptops or smart phones, our entertainment was either a Sega/Sega Genesis or if we weren't lucky enough to have one of those, we would simply bust out our crayons and coloring books that were filled with pages and pages of potential...? Well, apparently, a company decided to get us back into coloring, but with a twist.

Because apparently,, there are coloring books for adults. Many are based on Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, etc. Yes, now you can have an opportunity to color Cersei's dressses, or how about adding even more blood and gore to the pages of the Red Wedding! Oooh, how about coloring the TARDIS anything else other than blue?Blasphemy, I know!! It was just an idea, but of course the TARDIS must always be blue.

Well, for those of us who might be interested in these coloring books, i leave you guys the article (and hopefully it'll have a link to where and how you can purchase these books):

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of
