Seven Deadly Sins.

This isn't a rant whatsoever, but I find it ironic that even though, I'm trying to diversify my blog from falling into the same style of movies/show reviews, I really can't help it, lol. Seriously, I'm trying not to JUST bring you guys movies/show reviews. 😇

I guess, I really just can't help myself, so sorry. One thing I am trying to do is make them more shorter. Sweet and snappy, since, my older ones, just went on and on.

Either way, so unfortunately due to my work (IRL) I really had neglected my blog, but due to extraordinary events, I find myself no longer having a job (yes, I am jobless for now!) So, I've decided that I really need to keep up with my blog.

Sooo, will there be more frequent entries, yes, but I will not be over saturating you guys with too many, because it is easy to burn out too.

Just realized I went on a tangent, OK, I'm back.

If you haven't had the chance to watch Seven Deadly Sins, you definitely should.

Quick Story Synopsis: A mysterious girl goes out to look for the 7 Deadly Sins, whom were thought had conspired, long ago to over throw the kingdom that they served. After their attack, they disappeared. So, this mysterious girl, whom escapes, goes out to find the 7 Deadly Sins because she believes that they aren't responsible for the coop, but the Knights that were sworn to protect the kingdom. This sets off an adventure, that has been happening for longer than any of them think.

The story is original, it really captures the viewers attention from the get go. The pacing is also well done, it's not too slow in story arch, or introducing characters. It moves the plot well, in terms of story telling.

The characters are multi-dimensional, well rounded, and there is a definite, much more than meets the eye to them. They have compelling background stories that makes you feel for them, and their motivation for their end goals.

The animation is fun, sophisticated, like a good anime should be.

And yes, I do have some favorite characters, but my main favorite character, is Hawk, whom is a wise-cracking, loyal, funny magical pig whose main job is watching over the main female protagonist and eating scraps. He's just delightful, he's mainly used as a whimsical break, from the tension or suspense, and there are times, where this is much needed and welcomed.

There's something for everyone, action, mystery, romance, it is a really fun story to watch.

I really don't want to say more, since you guys know that I really don't like to give out spoilers, in which case, I'll just say that if you guys love anime (but why wouldn't you? Am I right?) go check it out, seriously, you're missing out if you haven't already.

And even though it is only on it's first season (second season hasn't been added to Netflix, just yet), I really enjoyed it.

In the meantime, while they do, this will give you guys a chance to watch and be ready for when it is released.

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was...

I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of ...

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. (See w...
