Winter is Coming with... concerts, barbells + senpai?

Good day kiddies! 😁

For whatever weird reason I always find myself writing my posts at un-godly hours, like say 3:30 something in the morning?! 😶

For most of you do not know that I am a night owl, who happens to get more inspiration from the muses during these hours rather than the early mornings. Never wake me up in the mornings, I'm just a ball of 'meh' the entire day who will be loading on loads of caffeine and sugar. Maybe that's why I am fat?! 😕

Anywho, enough about me, you're here because of news that I share with you guys about our community.

Most of us know that the next season of GOT was delayed all the way to mid year (last I heard), because HBO basically just wants to collectively torture us. Ahem, the reality is that most of us are already suffering from major withdrawals. But can it be done?

Are we just expected to binge watch all current seasons over and over, just because we can't admit that it will be awhile for the new season to arrive? There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this, but what about for those of us who may not be enough?

There's a perfect solution to this!

Apparently, there will be a tour beginning March 1st through February 26th, and it will be called Game of Thrones Live Concert, The Experience. Yes, there will be a tour of this concert with a live symphony and on the screen showings of the best moments or the recap of the series.

From what I could tell the live symphony will give a different dynamic and dimension to the scenes.

The tour will include various cities like:

  • Inglewood, CA
  • Chicago, IL
  • Buffalo, NY
  • Philadelphia, PA (hey, I might be able to catch this!)
For more information on other cities and venues that the tour will be performing at, I leave you guys the link below:

For those who are interested and want to experience GOT in a different way, grab your bastard swords and join the realm by having this unique opportunity.

Cuz' to be honest, from the video, this looks amazing!

We all have heard/seen the "notice me, senpai" quote floating around, right?

Well, senpai has INDEED noticed because a few months ago, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of "Sailor Moon" the magical land of all things Otaku, known as Japan, decided to form an official fan club, but unfortunately it was only for people living in Japan.

Well, not any more it isn't because they have decided to finally admit global members to the fan club.

If you want to be a "Pretty Guardian" member you must send your $58 (USD) member fee and you will be able to access merchandise, secret app, super secret fan site and many more awesome goodies that go along with said membership.

Like always, I will leave a little k to the website that has more detail info. for those who may be interested 😁:

Last but not least, have your dreams ever been to having the muscular physique of a certain Stage Rogers, or how about the athletic assassin build of Black Widow?

You will soon because the gym equipment manufacturer Onnit will be coming out with their own Marvel inspired equipment to help you get that toned physique you always wanted.

There are very little details on when and how much the equipment will cost, but on their website you can see some (which I presume will be more) of the equipment that they will be releasing out for purchase.

The official name of the line will be The Onnit/Marvel Hero Elite Series of Fitness Equipment.

Catchy, in it?
But what kind of equipment are they going to release? Well from the looks of it there will be a Captain America  inspired barbell weights, along with Black Widow boxing gloves and an Iron Man kettlebell.

Unfortunately, there is not much more info, but the website does give you the option to subscribe to their e-mailing service for future info.

Are you guys pumped?! 💪

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was...

I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of ...

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. (See w...
