The Force is strong with Covergirl & Disney Parks

Hello kiddies!!!

Wishing you all had a wonderful weekend!!

So, what is new since I last wrote to you guys?

We shall begin...

Covergirl: Star Wars Limited Edition Make-Up:

Fellow fangirls, we need to start saving up because Covergirl recently announced a Star Wars Limited Edition make up line that will be coming September 4 (yes, of this year!) but their actual official release date will be December.

I'm super thrilled that in particular Covergirl took the helm and decided to release the line. Why? because although Covergirl is known for being so much affordable, compared to other high end priced make-up companies, it is awesome that they are making it accessible for all types of $$ pockets.

Why, because some of us (maybe the majority, rather than a few) we realistically have bills to pay, so it's awesome that a more affordable make-up company is taking the helm in this collection and that way more of us (who are on a budget) can have a better chance to snatch up the cosmetics.

Here's a link to Allure magazine, with a awesome video of their un-boxing for the make-up collection... enjoy!

Star Wars Land at Disney Parks:

For those of you who continue to live under rocks... Disney released the plan to expand their parks (which consist at Orlando & California) to begin construction of the new Star Wars land (at least Star Wars theme section inside the parks).

Apparently it was announced during at this year's D23 Expo. It will be around 14 acres and will include a 2 new attractions and other incredible goodies.

So, for those who have annual passes, get ready to experience the galaxy far far away, very close to home.

And for the rest of us, well let's start saving up for those annual passes, because we'll probably end up living there, lol.

Disney, take my money!!!

Here's a more detailed account of the plans straight from the House of Mouse:

Now, here's a good question, I want to ask you guys?

Which theme park will you guys be willing to visit more often?

Universal or Disney?

(Do remember, Universal Hollywood >>2016<< will be opening, finally!, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but Disney will have Star Wars land).

Or is it quite frankly both?! Let me know in the comments section are you more Team Harry or Team Disney?

Around the Geek World Wide Web:

All Hail the Queen of the Geeks!!!

One of the best representatives of our community, Felicia Day!!!

If you guys haven't heard, already, she announced her book release for a while, and it finally happened!

Her book came out just this week, and from what I've been hearing around Instagram and other sources, it's very funny, personal, authentic and worth spending our hard earned cash.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to acquire it, because, I used up most of my $ on being a responsible adult to pay bills. Adulthood sucks!

But, I will be acquiring on my next paycheck and will let you guys know my thoughts on it.

But for those who have a more healthier pocket, here's the link for you  those who are interested in purchasing it:

I believe you guys have had enough excitement for one day.

Til' next time kiddies, behave!

Gotta Run Away Fast.

We've all seen the trailers for the upcoming release of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu  and most of us have gotten excited to see our favorite Pokemon come to life (CGI, of course) on the big screen. One of the most iconic Pokemon have been Pikachu, and what we've seen, he is stinkingly adorable in anime form or live-action. The animation for the CGI was well handled for what we've been able to gather from the trailers. digitalspy.com So, it makes sense that other production companies want to cash in the nostalgia fever and releases their own spin on classic icons of classic games. But, what in the HECK are you guys thinking at Paramount?!?! About a day ago or so, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog movie was release, and let me tell you, Sonic looks like something that was brought from the darkest pits of hell. Seriously, what were the animators thinking?! It's not cute, nor endearing, or even worth of the namesake. Newsweek.com Whatever that was, it was

Sink your teeth into Castlevania.

It is almost February and within the time that I've been missing, there have been so many news, that it is kind of hard to talk to you guys about everything. Lately, I must admit that I've been in a weird funk of watching interesting shows, movies, that are not necessarily in everyone's radar. Yes, I could talk about the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, or anything else that has been buzzing around the internet. But lately, with all the nay-sayers, I've kinda gotten into this funk of finding lost treasure in shows that might not be well known, or given enough time of day, due to either people not knowing, or just glossing over.  One of those 'diamonds in the rough' that I recently was made aware of is 'Castlevania' on Netflix. There's only two seasons of the animated series, and I basically binged watched season 1 yesterday with the Hubby.  And seriously, if you haven't seen this animated series, it really is damned good. I Want a Refund

Hello!! O.k, so no I haven't disappeared yet again on you guys, but last week was eventful since, my In-Laws decided to come for an entire week for a much needed family vacation in my neck of the woods. It was a roller coaster, with up's & down's, but overall we all had an enjoyable experience. Except for Friday... On this day, we decided as a family to finally go see Avengers: Endgame  in theaters. So, my husband, along with my MIL, FIL & daughter (and I of course) headed to the movies. In advance, we reserved our tickets, with reserved seating (it was an IMAX theater) and off we went. We decided that we would do one of the last showings just because we already knew that it was a 3 hour long movie, so, we were o.k with that. The movie theater was not full (due to maybe time, etc). So, we went up, took our seats and prepared to be wowed. Maria Rivas/Instagram Nope, we got annoyed. We had noticed that in our same row, there was another small group of
