And yes, I am being sarcastic about it. And, of course this is a post, not so much of a rant, but to raise even MORE awareness in the stream of consciousness in the Geek/Nerd community We must admit, that it is prominently male oriented and there are a few celebrated Geek/Nerd girls that 1.) are show cased within our community, 2.) are even of some notoriety of sorts. As a Geek/Nerd Girl, I must admit that I am aware of this phenomenon that is known as a "fake Geek girl," and I will never understand what a "fake" or "true" geek girl is. Is our Geekiness defined by the amount of collectibles we have? How many issues of Batman 66, New 52 we have? or maybe simply, we just enjoy the fandom that we happen to be in? I've come across article, after article about how our manly counterparts, usually employ the excuse of "fake" Geek girls, because they can't fathom a girl/woman being into the things that are considered for "men
